After their crazy world tour and soon-to-be released This Is Us documentary, it’s amazing that the boys of One Direction even have time to work on their next album. But Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam discussed their upcoming third album in a recent interview, and talked about all the things the big changes they’re making this time around.
The boys spilled that they wrote the majority of the songs on this next album themselves, 10 out of 14 to be exact. Louis explained, “We take our music so seriously. And especially this last record…we have done a lot of writing on it. For us, the music is such an important part.” Liam even showed off a sneak peek of some of their new lyrics by flashing a forearm tattoo that reads “I figured it out.” We can’t wait to hear the song that goes along with that mysterious tattoo!
The boys are also working on becoming a bit more musical. Right now, Niall is the only member of the group that plays an instrument (he rocks out on the guitar). But apparently, the other boys are also learning how to play instruments!
